As we know the 90s was a very iconic when it comes to trends especially when it comes to fashion. So, I definitely want to lay out some go the trends that were big in the 90s. I hope you guys like it!
1).
The first trend that was in the 90s and emerging was overalls.Overalls is a big fashion piece especially in the 90s. Overalls is a good fashion piece to wear over other clothes which makes your outfits even more spicy. As you guys know overalls come in many different colors and styles that you can make into your own.
2).
The 2nd trend is Girbaud Jeans. I think when it came to Girbaud Jeans it was a huge staple piece they have a nice comfy look that people loved to pull off. When it comes to Girbaud Jeans you can’t tell people nothing that is the feeling I get from these jeans for sure.
3).
The 3rd trend is one of the most popular brands back then which was RocaWear. RocaWear is a clothing brand that was created by Jay Z and Damon Dash. You would see so many celebrities in RocaWear especially people in the hip hop industry. You will see tracksuits, jackets, and accessories but RocaWear is definitely one of the brands that had a big impact in the hip hop/fashion industry.
4).
The 4th trend is Fubu and this was another fashion brand that was big especially within the hip hop industry. Fubu was created by Daymond John and this brand was definitely big in the 90s. This is another brand that had a huge impact within the hip hop/fashion industry.
5).
The 5th trend is bucket hats and this is a huge staple piece when it comes to fashion. When it comes to bucket hats it’s an accessory that can shape your outfits in many ways. What I really love is how bucket hats is still popular today within our generation. I know these hats will forever be around.
6).
The 6th trend is Baggy Jeans and this is definitely a huge and I mean huge staple back in the 90s. When it came to both men and women baggy jeans were the wave it does not matter how you styled it they stood out. I know baggy jeans will never go away it is definitely creeping up again in our generation.
7).
The 7th trend is the brand Cross Colours and this brand was created by Carl Jones and T.J Walker. This brand is South Central based and was very much supported by different people including the set of “A Different World”. Definitely a brand that wanted to create some elevation and this brand wanted to speak on what was going on within racial discrimination and other things that were evident at the time. It is good to have brands that have a message about it and this one of them.
