SO…. I wanted to give a background on why I decided to start my fashion blog and where I want my blog to go. I am someone who has always been interested in fashion and found myself to express myself through my clothing. I have always liked seeing different types of clothing and garments that spoke for themselves, so for me clothing was a way for me to understand myself and let the clothes do the speaking. In middle school we had to wear uniforms and showing off your outfits was just not a thing in middle school. So, the way I was able to show off my style and be different was wearing cool Stance socks and being different with my socks. I would roll up my pants and just show them off and show how “cool” I was. Fast forward to now I have a passion for fashion. It is something that makes me happy and learning the history behind the clothing pieces that we wear has been a good way for me to get closer to these clothing pieces and appreciate them even more. When I wear things that make me feel comfortable and it suits me as a person no one can take that away from me just how if you guys truly like your style keep representing it. 

We can make fashion how we want to make it. There is no right and wrong when it comes to our style and how we decide to dress. You guys better own it! I also want to be able to help people when it comes to finding their true fashion sense as well. Fashion speaks for us. It tells a story about us because these pieces all have some depth in them whether we see it or not. I want this fashion blog to be a safe space for others to come and learn more about fashion and where it came from. I also want to be able to help people style things as well. I truthfully hope you guys all enjoy this blog and get something from it and we all help each other out when it comes to all these cool fashion things.
